I don’t often share my journals outside of the School because they’re so precious. Do you feel the same way?
The first journal I’m sharing is from our live Zoom gatherings this last year. It’s a great example of how using inexpensive sketchbooks can free us up to be more expressive.
The second journal is my CODEX—it’s almost brand new and I’m a wee bit nervous about sharing it with you because it’s so personal!
Registration to join us in School is open for another week, so if you want to create precious journals full of #mandalamagic now is the perfect time to join us!
I only just discovered this video and I LOVE it! I’ve been in many, not all, of the Magic Circle events and am looking forward to starting a new journal for next year, as the one I have is nearly full. :-) I, like you Julie, find the Codex journal deeply personal and I’m grateful you’ve shared your thought processes along with the art itself. What a gift you’ve given us. Many thanks!
These journals are so precious, Robin and I love seeing you for our Magic Circles! Thanks for the gift of you!
Julie, I missed this when it was first published and only watched it today about a mont after you posted it.
I loved having this guided journey through your two favorite journals. Inspiring. Thank you.
Glad to share these with you, Cielle, and all in perfect time, no doubt :) Thanks for tuning in, as always!
Hello, I love mandalas. Have you ever included in your courses the areas of meaning within the mandala? For example, what does the center mean, the upper, side areas?
I have a certain style when I create a mandala. I would like to know what the certain area mean.
Keep doing what you are doing!
Hiya Jeanne—you can find out more about how we work with mandalas here: https://mandalamagicschool.com/mandala-magic/ Using this method (based on Jungian psychology) we learn that each mandala offers up an individual interpretation for the creator. In the School, we demonstrate various methods of interpretation, based on mandala symbolism, as explained in our CODEX course. Hope that helps!
